By Air :
 The Bangalore airport is the nearest airport lying at a distance of 187 kms. Being a major metro city, Bangalore is facilitated with regular flight service. There are innumerable flights operating from the city, having linked with other parts of the cities. One need to hire a taxi or bus for reaching Hassan.
By Rail :
The Hassan railway station is linked other important junctions like Mysore, Bangalore and Mangalore. Major express trains such as Mangalore-Bangalore express has a stoppage at Hassan.

 Hassan is conveniently connected by healthy network of road services to Bangalore (222 km) and Mangalore (194 km). There are several buses plying in regular intervals to various cities. Important cities elur, Halebid, Shravanabelagola and several other cities of Karnataka are linked with Hassan.
